Attractive medium deep red colour. Beguiling nose of mixed spices, blackcurrants, smoked meat and walnuts. Opens up nicely with decanting and time in the glass. Palate shows all the promise of the nose with fresh, complex berry fruit and lively tannins at first, but soft and refined with time in the glass. A long dry finish. Drink 2025 to 2040.
