The path is reasonably good with a few short steep inclines that will require all fours for a few metres. The vertical gain will be about 250m, over about 5 km, so everyone needs to be reasonably fit. This hike is quite safe and accessible and will NOT be cancelled due to inclement weather.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eWe will walk at the pace of the slowest (which might be me) and stop for birdwatching, plants and flowers and to admire the views. It’s important to wear long pants and proper hiking boots or trail running shoes as much of the trail is not a trail at all and the fynbos can be very scratchy.
