Attractive deep red / purple colour. Big juicy rich fruit on the nose with lovely spice and fynbos (herbal) elements too. Plums, blueberry, black pepper and other spices. Intense, concentrated fruit and spice on the palate. Firm, but supple tannins balancing the depth of fruit. Evolves beautifully in the glass. Serious Cabernet Sauvignon like structure on the finish. Decanting is recommended.
Drink 2026 to 2037. Ideal with rich and smoky pork ribs or belly.
